I've been tagged!

So, it seems Julie from Causes Rats in Laboratory Cancer has tagged me with a meme. I kinda like this one and I know who I'll tag first... who else but my librarian sister! Maybe she'll do it at work!

Okay... here are the instructions:
1. Pick up the nearest book ( of at least 123 pages).
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Tag five people. and post a comment here once you post it to your blog, so I can come see.

The book is The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrye Neffenegger. (I very highly recommend it and have to thank my sister the librarian for pointing me to it!)

My attention drifted.

"Read that once again, child," says Grandma.

"Twenty down. 'Monkish money.' Eight letters, second letter 'a,' last letter 'n.'

So, I tag:

The Librarian Sister at Blue-Eyed Bookworm
The Moma at While You're Up
My Catty Friend, Erica at Young & Beautiful
My Cousin's Wife at Bein' Franklin
A fellow North Texan at All Things Michelle

Ok, I posted my meme from a book I read. The difficult part (as mentioned) in my blog is that I don't have 5 blogger friends. You'll see what I did there. Enjoyed this although it was more difficult than it seemed it would be--you know choosing the *right book* etc.

Wow. This one is spreading fast, perhaps because it's pretty fast to do!

I enjoyed The Time Traveler's Wife, although it took me a while to finish for some reason.

So do you watch Gordon Ramsay? I have been tivo'ing the Kitchen Nightmares on BBC because it just cracks me up...I don't think I have ever met anyone who says the f word as much as he does...and he almost always manages to convince the people they are being big knuckleheads.

And I love the shows with completely hopelessly messy and unorganized people...then I can feel superior because at least my kitchen floor was mopped this week and you can walk across the rooms in my house (except for my daughter's, currently. Her GI Joe collection seems to have exploded everywhere...) and hopeful that if they can be decluttered, maybe I can too!
